ritchie st

iam gonna start my first view from the auspicious(according to me) ritchie st. its the street where u can enter on side and go out on the other side with an hi tech latest config pc or laptop. its the ranganathan street for the computer peripheral consumers. The first time i went to that street to buy a graphic card. i was like a lost child in a carnival. I was scrambling to move forward and find a store to buy the graphic card. i bet u guyz,if u are new to that street and u are looking for a particular shop, u wont find it easily. U will take atleast 3 hours to find the specific place. its hell and lot of the crowd buddies.

I roamed for nearly two hours to find the shop and i bought the graphic card. I must thank my old pc whole heartedly for creating a bond between me and the ritchie st. U dont get what iam saying huh??? The day i bought the graphic card my mother board stopped working. she couldnt accept a new intruder(graphic card) into her slot. so she stopped working(i used to consider my pc as my girl friend thats why iam using she).

due to the repair i started to visit the ritchie street to repair or buy new components for my pc. i nearly changed everything in my pc. its a long story i will write it in another blog. after my expertise in cruising through the crowds in ritchie st and my knowledge about the pc components(am not boasting i was looking for the right config to run my system thats y i studied all the gadget things and got the knowledge) i started purchasing new pc's for my friends. i guided them through the street to buy their desired config and am still doing it.

the notable thing about the ritchie street is most of the shop owner's are rajasthani sayt's(marwaris) believe me they speak good tamil than us... they dont speak the nambalki nimbalki language portrayed in our tamil cinemas. they are good in wooing customers and selling thier goods.

one important thing about ritchie street is beware of fake products. go for the right store and u will be safe. apart from the computer peripherals the street is famous for the korean mobiles. these are noisy beasts puncturing the ears of chennaites. Especially in trains the teenage guyz play the songs in high volumes using the korean mobiles. please guyz its awfully irritating stop it.

the other best thing about the ritchie street is engg projects. There are shops like potti kadais scattered in each and every corner of the ritchie street to prepare the readymade projects for the engg students. They are having a list of projects and i had my worst moment in one of those shops. i bought a project to submit it in the mini project fest held in my college. The embarrassing thing was a small boy at the age of 12 was explaining me the project i bought. i was studying third year during that time. He was telling that "if you have any doubt call the no we gave i will clarify ur doubts". i think u got an idea in which way i did my engg. anyway i passed in all papers and iam an engineer now. so if u wanna buy any type of project ritchie will be the best place and i assure you that small boy will assist u in the project.

these are my views about the ritchie street. to reach that place u can commute by train. the nearest station is chindadaripet mrts rlwy station. u can also reach that place by bus. if u are coming from tambaram route alight at LIC stop and u have to walk for ten mins.....

ok friends will meet u in another post about another place i like in chennai... i gotta go to the ritchie street to inquire about a laptop.... if u wanna any help abt ritchie street ask me... i will help... see ya
